A Letter from our Sisters
Dear Friends,
What is the word from the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill? You may be wondering how we are faring during this global health crisis.
While in some cases advice about social distancing isn’t being heeded, in our case it is. Physical distancing helps to keep people safe. And during these days, our friends and families are more important than ever to us. We want you to be assured that you are in our prayers and we ask that you continue to keep us in yours.
Our elder sisters are well. Quarantined at Caritas Christi, they are in the care of a wonderful staff. Nurses, housekeeping, maintenance, and dietary teams keep smiling and serving with increased attention to any situation that might compromise fragile lives. Sisters who have traveled recently have isolated themselves, while staying in touch through phone and social media; none to date have gotten ill. Most of our offices are functioning at a distance, with staff working from their homes. All is well at the Sisters of Charity Complex.
We hope your lives have not been too disrupted by this uncommon and frightening virus. May you and all those you hold dear remain safe, healthy and unafraid Let us remember one another in prayer, and keep our social connections strong in these difficult and unpredictable times.
May God bless you,
Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill
